Ireland

Our trip to Ireland included a visit with some of Michele's family in Dublin. After hitting the major attractions in Dublin, we headed south, explored some little fishing villages along the coast and many local pubs. We also took a quick overnight trip to Belfast in Northern Ireland.

Getting locked in a pub...

Find a small town bar and be there at the end of the night when they shut the doors and lock you in. Evelyn had never experienced this, nor did the concept of last call before 11 PM make sense to her.

What do you mean you can't have Guinness for breakfast?

Apparently, this American was naive about the power of Guinness Drought. For years I claimed that I had tried Guinness and it was terrible.
