One day we were heading to the other side of Seoul and we took the subway and upon our exit we happened across a karate demonstration that would be starting shortly. We could hardly believe our luck and thought this could be deja vu as we ran into the bell ringing ceremony the day before. As tourists you would have thought we would have researched the tourist programs in the city, but not us as our whole agenda centered on wandering around Seoul. Either way our timing had definitely been impressive.

The demonstration began and these kids were amazing. I can not describe how agile and impressive their moves were. The coolest part was that there were girls as well and they were just as good if not better than the guys. Hi-ya! For about a half an hour or so they flipped, kicked, and broke boards while flying through the air. We were also lucky enough to catch some of their moves in photographs. This was definitely one of those moments where you realize how lucky you are to be in the right place in the right time. Literally. Kudos to the visit Korea team they were two for two, and had definitely given the right impression of their city to these two tourists.
