We took a road trip from San Diego to Palo Alto via the Pacific Coast Highway in a convertible. Stops included LA, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Monterey, Santa Cruz and Palo Alto.

At Oceano beach formerly known as Pismo Beach just south of San Luis Obispo you can ride recreational vehicles on the beach and in the Sand Dunes. There are local ATV rentals, and locals with GoPros who think they are “pros”. We rented from Steve’s ATVs.
Land. First stop, In and out burger, second stop, paragliding at Torrey Pines Gliderport over Black’s beach in La Jolla , third stop, Stone Brewing Company. All in all, a couple of productive hours after landing in San Diego (affiliate) for these two travelers and their personal tour guide Erica.
